Working hard these days with @ollyneedham and @joaku_sotavento on the “Ritual device for fungal humus cultivation / Everyone should be a musician, a dancer and a fungus farmer (at the same time)”, a device for cultivating and biosonifying saprophytic fungi. It functions as an interactive installation, where a soundscape interprets the blooming of the fungi crop. Simultaneously, the performative actions of the audience — detected through their presence and touch on the surrounding soil — are musically integrated in real time.
An art project developed during the @rootsandseedsxxi residency, exploring the future of biodiversity and sustainable food systems.
This project will be exhibited at @arselectronica Festival for Art, Technology & Society, PANIC yes/no (3-7 Sept. 2025) at POSTCITY, Linz.
