Fungi natur project
We cultivate with respect and passion
Our mushroom production is the materialisation of many lines of work, the realisation of a project that defends small-scale, sustainable, socially aware food production linked to a territory.
We make tangible the real value of the forest, of the natural environment, of human work.
In the shade of this autochthonous Asturian forest, the whole process of cultivation of our mushrooms takes place.
We produce healthy, ecological and quality food. Taking advantage of the natural environment of the forest, we grow shiitake, nameko and reishi mushrooms, renowned for their nutritional and medicinal properties.
We are committed to local consumer networks, small businesses, projects that generate community and alternatives to the production model.
Interest in seeking productive alternatives to the native forest, which serves as a resource for obtaining the substrate for cultivation, in turn facilitating its preservation, the prevention of fires, sustainable land management, etc.
Environmental education through educational and training activities in the forest, where we deal with the cultivation of mushrooms outdoors, agro-ecology, environmental problems, etc.
We promote small-scale self-cultivation, through the sale of inoculated trunks, tools, mycelium, advice to new growers, etc., favouring the economic development of rural areas and food sovereignty.
We want to be a mirror for young people interested in agricultural work. Working with common sense, in symbiosis with nature, is a viable activity that gives us pleasure and satisfaction that far outweigh the sacrifices it demands.

Our networks
At Fungi natur we believe that the future and strength of small producers lies in the creation of support and collaboration networks, which is why we are partners or collaborate with these projects.
Guided tours of our facilities
If you would like to get to know our forest, see where and learn how we grow our mushrooms, we propose an alternative and very original plan to enjoy with our guided tours, which also include a tasting of our products.
